No Google Pages for you!
Jason's post about the Google web pages tool looked so good I
decided to try it. Unfortunately, due to the way of the world, I was unable to do so until around 10 PM Eastern time...
By which time Google Pages was closed for business. Instead of a cute, new tool I
got this:"Thank you for your interest in Google Page Creator! Google Page Creator has experienced extremely strong demand, and, as a result, we have temporarily limited the number of new signups as we increase capacity. In the meantime, please submit your email address and we will notify you as soon as we are ready to add new accounts. Thank you for your patience."
Unfortunately, I'm not a patient person. I'm the guy who just unplugs his machine when it won't shut down fast enough (yes, I know that is a terrible thing to do). I wanted to recommend this to some very nice people I recently met who wanted to start a website, but had no training whatsoever. This would have been a great sandbox for them. Instead, it's closed. Luckily there are alternatives. I put my email in the box, just to see when it does come back up. So instead of my goofy Google Page, I give you Nik Cubrilovic's page.

It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. That is, until I tried the game.

What's with Google these days? A number of their services limit the number of sign-ups. I wonder where they'd be, if the search page did the same.

I added my email address the first day also. Just for kicks, I tried again and it works for me. No email to let me know.

Success! After nearly 2 months, I finally received an email saying I was allowed entry into the coveted halls of Google Pages. I feel so warm and fuzzy inside.
Oh, I just threw up in mouth. Just a little.
