Office 12 now Office 2007, available in the flavors
MSNBC reports that Microsoft has announced the
different flavors that Office 2007, formerly called Office 12, will be available in. On the menu are Office
Professional Plus for corporate users which integrates SharePoint, Communicator, and some sort of web/intranet portal,
the "premium" Office Enterprise which incorporates the Groove real-time collaboration software Microsoft
acquired last year, and finally Office Home and Student for the rest of us. Office 2007 will be the first major update
to the Office product line since Office 2003 and is expected to launch late this year along with Windows Vista.[Via Slashdot]
With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
