Another gold nugget dug up on digg: a "complete"
list of Web 2.0 Products and
Services. Is it really complete? Not really, as the arbitrary 99 doesn't cover everybody out there (with new ones
popping up every day, who could?). Still, it's a fantastic list. I find myself trying to explain the nebulous "web
2.0" concept to people, and wind up mentioning Meebo, Gmail, Writely, Flickr, del.icio.us, and... It's so much
easier to point someone to a URL and let them figure it all out. Honestly some of these sites are half-baked, a couple
are just more lists, and a few dupes. Still, they run the gamut from the frivolous to the powerful. This list is a
great resource for anyone who travels with nothing but a pen and notebook full of passwords. Have fun with all those
toys, and don't forget which phony email you used to register.

With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.

I've seen this list linked from Digg, Del.icio.us, and several blogs. The interesting thing that people seem to keep missing is that this is a *dynamic* list. (Check the Google cache for the page; it show's a very different list.)
The service, Listible, appears to be a collaborative list-making tool. So while some of the links in the list may be dubious Web 2.0 apps, the list appears to be correcting itself over time (like any good social software) as the users add and moderate up the good services and moderate down the crap services.

Why is everyone calling their collaborative tools Web 2.0 ? Collaborative Tools are not the defintion of Web 2.0 .
