Escapa - Today's Time Waster

This is infuriatingly simple but difficult. Escapa has you click and drag a little red box around the screen, trying to avoid bigger blue blocks. It's a variation on several games I used to play, one was called "Daleks" after the Dr. Who nemesis. You move your character one step at a time, and the enemies would inch closer. Those were more strategic, as you would move, baddies would move, it was all very orderly. If a bad guy landed on you (which you could usually see happening eventually), you died. In Escapa, you drag your little box around in real time while the blue boxes chase and capture you. I have yet to break past 10 seconds, so tell us what you get in the comments.

So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do.
Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. I got between 17.3 and 17.6 6 times in a row. The pace changes, just around 15 secs as Peter (#1) said. :-)

Michael, I can think of three reasons for you to get 196.
1) Maybe there is a bugg where the browser doesnt update properly. Try firefox. (Why do I assume it's IEs fault? ;) )
2) Your computer are under the minimum system requirements or something.
3) You are some kind of mutant...
I prefer to think that it's number one...number three is awesome too...

This is a very fun and addictive game. I have to say my personal best is around 23 seconds. Playing around I found a pretty easy method to cheat, using that I got 227.501 seconds. Ill try and post a screenshot.

To get into the Australian Air Force u have 2 to do a test like this for over 2 minutes. i can only manage around 22 seconds.
