Firefox 1.5.0.1 released
Ordinarily I wouldn't even mention a release with such a minor increment in version number, but many users, self
included, were somewhat unsatisfied with the performance of Firefox 1.5 and have been eagerly awaiting some fixes. Firefox 1.5.0.1, which is going out over Automatic
Update (go to Help > Check for Updates if you haven't gotten an alert), has a short set of release notes, but what I
was craving is there: stability improvements, security enhancements, and, most of all, fixed memory leaks. Also in the
new release is improved OS X support and, for our Icelandic readers, International Domain Name support for .is domains.
