Firefox 1.5.0.1 released
Ordinarily I wouldn't even mention a release with such a minor increment in version number, but many users, self
included, were somewhat unsatisfied with the performance of Firefox 1.5 and have been eagerly awaiting some fixes. Firefox 1.5.0.1, which is going out over Automatic
Update (go to Help > Check for Updates if you haven't gotten an alert), has a short set of release notes, but what I
was craving is there: stability improvements, security enhancements, and, most of all, fixed memory leaks. Also in the
new release is improved OS X support and, for our Icelandic readers, International Domain Name support for .is domains.
With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
They key to getting good at Graveyard Shift is learning to use ...

Yes, but it breaks Roboform, and there's not a version of Roboform that works with it yet.

i didn't really experience much trouble with 1.5. but now, after upgrading to 1.51 i've had firefox freeze up on me about 6 times.

Check your extensions. An incompatible extension can cause lots of trouble.

Yeah... this thing screwed me big time. Fortunately Firefox Safe Mode allowed me to run the browser again, although I have no clue which of my 30-odd extensions is causing the stupid thing not to load. Grr.
