Quintura - visual search client
Quintura is another attempt at a visual
search engine. It is quite polished and well designed, and affords basic searchers the ability to refine their search
results in a visual way. Simply put, Quintura surrounds the words from the original query with words that have been
determined to be likely to be associated. hovering over a related word shows the search query narrowed down with this
extra search term. The interactivity is fun to play with and the presentation is beautiful. It can be a bit of a
processor hog though, and honestly although it claims to speed up your searching, nothing is quicker for me than
submitting a Google query. If you have trouble generating effective search queries, this tool might be of great use to
you.
With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.

This seems fun, but it's a pitty that it needs a standalone program and only runs on Windows :-(
