Yahoo! goes mobile, TV

Yahoo! GoToday Yahoo! announced Yahoo! Go, a new set of products for PCs, TVs, and mobile devices. Yahoo! Go Desktop is "a suite of services to PCs that do not rely on a browser, essentially bringing all the Yahoo apps and services on the desktop," including a Dashboard app that sounds similar to Google Desktop and, I'm guessing, will include Yahoo! Widget Engine, formerly Konfabulator. Yahoo! Go TV will "make entertainment-related services available on any PC-connected TV through a small downloadable app," including video search, photo slideshows, movie information and trailers, and content from CNN and MTV. Yahoo! Go Mobile will include "Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Messenger, Photos, calendar, address book, Web and image search, news, sports and finance" for mobile apps and will be preloaded on Nokia Series 60 from Cingular and AT&T in the U.S., as well as 10 countries worldwide. PaidContent.org has more info on Yahoo! Go as does the Yahoo! Go site..
