Rumor alert: Microsoft to launch its own TV download service
There's
something funny about posting Microsoft news from a Mac rumors site, but here goes: Mac Rumors is reporting that Microsoft is planning a subscription TV download
service to compete with iTunes. They claim that the service would be a Napster-like model with unlimited or high
number of downloads for a monthly fee. This news is hot on the heels of Microsoft's announcement of its partnership with MTV for a
iTunes-alike music store.
