Here's an oldie but a goodie that's seeing new life thanks to a recent plug on "Attack of the Show." MacMerc has a great tutorial on making any photo look like it came from a comic book, along with a free Photoshop action to streamline the process. Give it a try. And if you like the comic look but want even more control over your images, check out Comic Life, a great (but Mac-only) program that has tons of effects and tools for photo-comic creation.

Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. Cool, one of the burgeoning facets of Digital Image Rendering Technology (D.I.R.T.). This is my new anacronym for what is misleadingly called Digital Photography. Too many of my gallery visitors think that with a name that includes Photography, it should strive to be just like film.
