NextPlease - Today's Browser Tip
NextPlease is one of the cooler Firefox extensions I've come across in awhile. The concept is pretty simple: NextPlease adds keyboard shortcuts and toolbar buttons for "Next" and "Prev" links on web sites. Out of the box NextPlease is super-smart: on most of the sites I tested it with, including several forums, Google search results, IMDb pages, Digg, and Download Squad itself, it worked flawlessly. On the rare site that it can't figure out, such as del.icio.us with its "earlier" and "later" links, it's just a matter of right-clicking on the appropriate links and telling it to recognize those phrases or images as next/prev links. NextPlease is very configurable and allows you to pick almost any keyboard shortcut for each of its functions and easily manage the phrases and images that it recognizes. For those who use their keyboard more than their mouse, I highly recommend NextPlease.
