iPod hacks aren't our usual fare here, but I can't help but point out this cool hack: a member of the iPodWizard.net forums has posted a short tutorial on hacking your iPod's (in his case a Nano) firmware to add custom icons to its on-screen menus. It's definitely not for the faint of heart (and will definitely void your warranty), but for the ultra-customizer this is a must-have hack.
