Firefox 1.5 optimized for G4 and G5 Macs
If you're a Firefox user and a Mac user, you may be interested to know that Neil Lee has compiled versions of Firefox 1.5 optimized for G4 and G5 processors. If your Mac has a G4 or G5, install the corresponding optimized build to see a bit of a boost in peformance. For PC users there's usually the good old MOOX builds, but the MOOX site is down until the 5th.
With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.

I can verify from first hand experience that these builds do, in fact, enhance the speed of Firefox on both my macs.

To bad they use custom form elements. Sure they look nice but they don't allow for sites to style form elements. :(
