I Hate This Key - Disable the Windows Key
One of the most annoying things that can happen when playing a full-screen game is accidentally hitting the Windows key on your keyboard, and having the Start menu pop up. Depending on the scenario, this can be merely annoying, or downright devastating. Although many games already disable system keys during game play, some don’t. I Hate This Key is a utility that was developed to solve just this problem. The free version only allows you to completely disable the Windows key, meaning that you have to manually switch the configuration if you want to turn it off or on. The Deluxe edition allows many more options, like disabling the Windows key in full screen games only, or full screen applications (like Terminal Services Client or IE Theater Mode). There are several more things that I Hate This Key can do, like configuring lock keys and power control keys.
