VideoEgg teams up with Six Apart

videoeggWhat's a VideoEgg? To quote the site: "It means internet video publishing as simple as it ought to be–like posting a photo or frying an egg." That's a lofty goal indeed. VideoEgg is working on a way to simply drag-and-drop your videos to the web. In fact, their goal is to enable capture, editing, and posting online. For a viewer, all they'll need is Flash installed on their browser. VideoEgg, meanwhile, is a browser plugin as well, that enables said capture, edit, and posting. The interesting thing about this is support for devices (webcams and camcorders) and formats (couldn't find a list of supported formats), so in theory you no longer have to worry if grandma Hatfield or cousin Bubba has that weirdo video player you downloaded late one stormy night...

And now VideoEgg has teamed up with Six Apart, creators of TypePad. So if you're blog is powered by TypePad you now have total access to the VideoEgg system. That outta make those video blogs take off like a rocket, yes? No Mac version yet, but it's coming soon...
