Ah yes, I don't know if Flikr'ing qualifies as a real word, but that is what Yahoo is doing with its travel site. Yahoo!Travel Planner beta turns a mundane travel site into a very interesting picture and itinerary scheduling tool. Lets say you're interested in planning a trip to Las Vegas. Well, you search for Las Vegas on the beta Travel Planner site, and you get a listing of other people's public itineraries for Vegas. Click on one, and you get to see where they went, pictures they added to Flickr that are related, and so on. You can then copy that itinerary and book the same hotels, shows and restaurants, or modify them to your delight. Of course you can add your own travel plan and choose to make it public so everyone can see your exploits across the world.
With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
