Avvenu: Get to your files from anywhere
it was Avvenu's turn. Avvenu is a file sharing client that you download and setup on your personal computer (sorry, no Mac client yet). You can setup multiple computers on one account. Once setup, Avvenu lets you access your PC's file structure through just about any browser, and that's the kicker. Avvenu's browser recognition picks up on what browser client you are using, and adjusts the interface to fit the client. This means you can access your files on computers as well as Smartphones. Photos are presented in thumbnail form, and when clicked on, you can access a larger version of the picture.
The downloaded client hints toward some sort of fee in the future, but for now the service is free.
