LiveJournal adds schools directory, takes on Facebook?
I never thought that any online service could best LiveJournal's ubiquity on college campuses (or, at least, the ones I have experience with) until Facebook came along and made LJ-mania look like a flash in the pan by comparison. Now, it would seem, LiveJournal is biting back with its brand new Schools Directory feature. Rather than limiting themselves to pre-selected colleges, though, LiveJournal is opening it up to elementary schools, high schools and, perhaps, wizarding schools.Via 0xDECAFBAD.

Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. nah. It's just a simple way of clustering livejournal uses together by institution.
anyone who has used both services will tell you that they're entirely different from each other.
