Shutterbook: Another player in the photo-sharing arena
Shutterbook, a photo sharing and management site, may be accused of bandwagon-jumping, but it does have a great interface going for it. It's mostly Flash-based, but is attractive and responsive. It lacks the community aspect that attracts the Flickr crowd, which may be a big turn-off for some, but does allow comments and has a blog featured. Shutterbook is currently in private beta, and there's a reasonably good demo you can check out before registering.
With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.

How many of these photo sharing services really have any features that can compete with Flickr? Flickr is the undisputed king, and I haven't seen any that come close. Why do people bother creating a service that doesn't even have anything original in it?
