Microsoft's Start.com portal updated
It's still pretty barebones, but Microsoft has unveiled the latest iteration of its Start.com portal. The company is apparently confident enough about it that they've scrapped the system they were using to "hide" the site (it was previously at start.com/3 ). I'm sure the final product will be every bit as gaudy as MSN.com was in its heyday, but it's nice to see something as clean as this from MS (even if it is a Google personalized home page knock). And most of the dandy Ajax-based customization features seem to work — even on Firefox. Check the Start.com blog for updates.

Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. That is, until I tried the game.
