I have an absolute weakness for physics games, and while Civiballs isn't the strongest physics-based game, what it lacks in the physics department it makes up for a few times over in style and fun.
In Civiballs, you are presented with a few colored balls, and your goal is to get those balls into the same-colored urn on the level. The "civi" part of Civiballs is that there are 3 sets of levels to play, each representing a different civilization. While the civilization doesn't affect gameplay, the artwork for each level is beautifully themed to it's appropriate era.
To play the game, you are given only one tool - a sword with which to cut the chains that are holding the balls. The puzzle part of the game is in figuring out what order, and with what timing to cut each chain. Do it right, and all the right balls end up in the right urns, with no stray balls entering an urn (a no-no). Do it wrong, and you get to start over again.
Civiballs is not terribly deep on gameplay; the entire game can be completed in about 15 minutes. But if you enjoy this type of game, it will be a very enjoyable 15 minutes.

After downloading and installing, you must go to http://my.opera.com/community/party/reg.dml and, in exchange for your e-mail address (or somebody else's for that matter), you get your very own make-the-banner-ads-disappear registration code.

btw, if you don't want to use your own Email address, do NOT use random ones. Those "random" ones, more often than people think, actually belong to someone.
Use madeup email addresses using the example.com domain name, that's guaranteed to not belong to anyone, e.g. na@example.com, noemailforyouoneyear@example.com

Or you could make up a throw-away address from Pookmail.com, Dodgeit.com, Mailinator.com, etc. to give them.

I'm currenlty using my free Opera to write this comment and troll through Weblogs Inc.
It does seem to knock me offline like when I use Firefox. That's good, I like it.

thanks for the tip. i wasn't using opera because of the ads up top... they weren't too annoying really, but ehh why bother when FF doesn't force ads on you.
tried it at work and many of the web aps we have do _not_ work with opera. some problems with FF too so it's not all thier fault.
the interface is nice, and at least you can re-arrange tabs.. my #1 gripe about FireFox. I still use the old version of MyIE2 the most since it has the best compatibility with everything (uses IE core).
