Are you getting web clippings in your Gmail?
I have a small confession to make. I have more than one Gmail account. My primary account has used up almost 10% of it's capacity. Yowza. But for some reason I never saw this web clipping thing until today, when I randomly logged in to one of my lesser-used accounts... It appears at the top of the interface (see pic to the right), and allows you to view snippets of other sites. In the Settings there is even a tab where you can add/delete sites. I noticed our sister blog Engadget was preloaded (thanks for the love Google, now where's Download Squad?). My question to all of you out there with gmail accounts: how many of you won this lottery and are seeing web clippings in your Gmail?
With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
They key to getting good at Graveyard Shift is learning to use ...

Yea i have this also. If you go to settings you can add custom RSS feeds to it. I have engadget, hack a day, download squad, and auto blog set up on mine.

I'm getting Web Clips too. I like the way Gmail displays spam-related recipes in the Web Clips area when you're in your spam folder.
I think it's a bit unfair that there was so much coverage on various websites about Microsoft renaming RSS when Google is doing the same thing with Web Clips (they're named that on the Google Sidebar, too).

I'm pretty sure they are rolling it out based on when you signed up, like they've done with most of the other stuff.

Yeah I think I have had this feature for a few months already.

No such feature on my account :(
However, I have http://www.google.com/ig set as my homepage, which allows me to add all the feeds that I want ad nauseum, so it'd probably be overkill to see more feeds when I wander over to gmail.

I agree with tevetorbes, I prefer Gmail on my IG page instead of feeds on my gmail page.
google/ig handles a massive pile of feeds. I have about 25 loaded on my page and it doesn't even strain open. I love the ease in which I can rearrange them with a simple drag and drop.
I wish it would popup a preview like the start.com/3 page though...

I have 4 gmail accounts and only one of them has web clippings. In fact, I had to manually load Engadget! I've had the web clippings from the time they were released and I use them a lot. As soon as I found Download Squad, I tried to enter the RSS into gmail's web clippings and it didn't recognize the feed. I haven't tried it since. Do you know if it works in gmail's web clippings?

I started seeing them a long time ago, at least a month or so, if not more. I just figured it was some promotion deal Weblogs, Inc. had with Google.

Don't have it either. :(
While I would not use it in general, but there would be one or two feeds I would like to monitor more closely.

All of my accounts had it by June... But one of the friends I gave gmail to hasn't gotten it yet.

I've had this for ages. It's actually what introduced me to the whole concept of RSS feeds. I had heard the term before, but had no idea what they were. After I noticed the web clippings on my Gmail, I went and downloaded Feedreader, and the rest is history.

I've had my gmail account since almost day 1. I don't have the little feeds header in my account.
But my wife who is an infrequent user, and got her account from me about a month after I did, has it. WTF?

My main gmail account doesn't have them, but my secondary account does. I have no idea how they are rolling this out, but would be curious to find out.

I don't have it, something I'm very grieved about. I'm a fairly heavy user of gmail too :'(

"The Gmail Team is currently testing a new feature called 'Gmail Clips,' which provides users access to news, blogs, and other information within their Gmail accounts, using RSS/Atom feeds. Currently, a small number of randomly selected users are testing the feature, but it may become more widely available in the future."
