Pepakura Designer turns your 3d into almost origami
Oh wow, have I been waiting for this. Pepakura Designer takes any 3DS, DXF, MQO, LWO, or OBJ files and will transmogrify them into paper models. Actually you'll have to print, cut, and often glue them together, but you get the idea. A slick little app that does one really cool thing...The galleries of user art give you a good idea of what you can do with Pepakura. You gotta love marketing like "make a development for peparwork from 3-dimentional data." Awesome power! The app is PC-only and is mostly free. There are some features that get unlocked when you pay the measly $38, which is totally worth it just to support the development. Now it's time to build that droid army I've been working on...

With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
