Cracked MacTel OS X in the wild

It looks like those rumors about cracked versions of OS X for Intel making their way across the net are true after all. The latest evidence is a series of videos showing what seems to be a garden-variety non-Apple (Mitac) laptop booting into OS X. DIY instructions for this have also been circulating pretty widely, though I'm not brave enough to try this on my own Windows box (though I'm sorely tempted).
