SyncToy PowerToy Beta Availalble from Microsoft

SyncToyThe next in a long line of PowerToys for Windows is almost here, and if you're an early adopter you can get your hands on the beta. SyncToy is a utility for those of us that work on multiple systems, and need to synchronize files between them. The impetus for this utility appears to be the growing trend of people having a machine in their home that is a dedicated media file server, storing photos, videos and music. For anyone that would like to be able to automatically synchronize folders between PCs, this utility looks like it might be worth your time. Given its classification as a "PowerToy", Microsoft does not officially support it. However, if it lives up to the quality of the other PowerToys for XP, this will not be a problem. I must mention that the process that is required now to download software from Microsoft is so time consuming (with all the Windows Genuine Advantage garbage) that you may find jumping through the hoops isn't worth it.
