Adobe upgrades free Photoshop Album SE to 3.0
Adobe has upgraded the free Photoshop Album Starter Edition to version 3.0. The program includes basic photo editing and organizing functions, and now also provides limited cameraphone support. While you can't argue with the price, the program is clearly meant to be a teaser designed to whet your appetite for an upgrade to Photoshop Elements. The biggest omission is the lack of any real sharing functions (other than via e-mails or PDFs); you can't even create basic web albums. If you really want a free program, you may want to check out Google's Picasa; if you want to go with Adobe, just bite the bullet and buy a copy of Elements.
I don't know if this is a labor of love or merely the brainchild of four very gifted games designers, but Level Up is a really weird mash-up of gaming elements that you have probably never seen in a Flash game before.
