Monitor Your Adsense Account From Your System Tray
I often find myself compulsively logging in to Google's AdSense to see how much I've made today. Given that it's never more than a dollar, I can't really explain my compulsion, but rather than fight it, I decided to find a tool to automate it. When I went looking, what I found was SysSense. SysSense will sit unobtrusivly in your system tray and poll your AdSense account at regularly configured intervals, and pop up a balloon tip with the details of your earnings. The current version of SysSense can handle multiple accounts, and show data by individual ad unit, or by page. It has just been updated to version 1.2.11 to handle recent changes made by Google to AdSense. SysSense is donationware for Windows.
With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
