Tame Runaway Processes
Process Tamer lives up to its name; it tames processes. Specifically, it monitors your Windows PC's processes (running programs), and takes notice when one begins misbehaving and hogging all of your system's CPU resources. This can make your machine unresponsive, so when Process Tamer notices this happening, it will temporarily drop the priority level of the process in question. This allows you to continue using your PC normally while the runaway process is allowed to continue (in case it is doing something useful), albeit at a slower rate. From the developers's site:
The new version 2 release includes a new separate standalone configuration tool which lets easily setup exclusion rules, manually adjust process priorites, and more, without affecting the efficiency and resource use of the resident system tray tool.
Process Tamer is "Donation Ware", so if you enjoy using it, please support its continuing development be making a donation.

They key to getting good at Graveyard Shift is learning to use ...
