Browser Tip of the Day: How to save any multimedia file from the web to your hard drive

The Media tab in Firefox

This one has been making the rounds on del.icio.us and Digg, and for power-users who know Firefox's dialog boxes by heart it's not news. But one of Firefox's greatest but least-known features is the Page Info dialog's Media tab, which you can use to save almost any kind of media (Flash, QuickTime, etc.) that you encounter on a web site to your hard drive. It's pretty straight-forward (choose Page Info from the Tools menu, click on the Media tab, find the file you want to save and click on Save As...), but if you need some help inner.geek has a complete write-up.
