Nvu 1.0 released
Consider it the Poor Man's DreamWeaver. I had this sitting in my applications folder for a while now, back when it was in beta. But beta no more, Nvu 1.0 has been officially released.Nvu is a simple web page builder. However, it is a solid WYSIWYG editor easy enough for web newbies. The GUI actually reminds me of a stripped-down DreamWeaver. The cost? Totally free.
It's all possible thanks to Linspire, the chief backer of Nvu. And while Linspire makes their own OS (a derivative of Linux), they aren't stingy with Nvu. It's available for Linux, Windows, and Mac.
With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.

I've used this in beta and have not been overly impressed. However, it's FREE and does the job. :)
