Microsoft said to enter adware market with Claria buy
Microsoft is reportedly close to finalizing a deal to buy Claria, the company best known for its Gator adware software. Though Claria has been working to expand its business beyond adware to personalization and customization tools — which apparently are at the core of Microsoft's potential bid — the company is still best known for its somewhat questionable practices when it comes to privacy. According to reports, the deal is hitting opposition within Microsoft, with some employees worrying that it will make the company seem like a malevolent giant, bent on collecting private data from its customers and exploiting it at will. Hey, lighten up guys. Microsoft doesn't need to buy Claria to convince anyone of that.
With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.

No, no, no, it's not about M$ making spyware. I'll bet that they're just going to buy them out so they can't make any more spyware. It's like the ultimate spyware prevention.
