Looks like Dave Winer was right! Apple has released iTunes 4.9 — though as of now 4.8 is still being promoted on the Apple home page. Stay tuned for details later today!

Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. Personally I find the purple icon for podcasts a little too MSN-esque, but I wouldn't be a mac user without obsessing over design...

I'm downloading it now, and my iPod is happy. Good thing I just bought a 30g photo! First thing to discover is how the ipod keeps podcasts seperate!
