Always nice to know the Chinese wall between editorial and advertising departments is still in place at The New York Times. Case in point: Today's Times has an article that actually mentions BugMeNot.com, that bane of any site that relies on registration data to sell ads and bring in revenue. Though the mention isn't an endorsement, one can imagine that the folks at the NYT who rely on reg data to make a living would prefer that the paper's own reporters not point readers to the site.
