ThinkFree Office returns from the dead
The Java-based ThinkFree Office suite hasn't been updated in so long that we had pretty much written it off as abandonware. However, it turns out that Korean company Haansoft, which acquired the program last year, is actually planning to ship an upgrade this summer. ThinkFree Office 3.0 will offer better compatibility with Microsoft Office files, and is expected to retail for about the same as the current version, which goes for $50.
